Leah Davis, principal designer, hails from eight generations of creative, hardworking and successful Texas business owners. In 1983, she established Right Angle Interiors, a company that provides unique interior design concepts for fine homes throughout the North Dallas region. Right Angle aims to service its clients through its architecturally invasive approach to interior decoration. The design team and contractors work closely to produce designs that are both aesthetically and constructively in sync. The company motto is “if you do not have a decent and flowing floor plan with good lighting then the finest furnishings and finishes in the world will not make the [house] sing. Right Angle makes certain that the interior plans are perfectly suited to the client’s lifestyle and both the hard and soft finishes are in harmony with the architectural style of the project.
Davis has always had an artistic flare. She learned to draft and draw from her father, an experienced architect and learned the intricacies of color, proportion and fine lines from her mother. She attended Highland Park High School, Trinity University in San Antonio and the University of Texas at Austin. She had a successful career as a model until she left the business to pursue her passion for interior design.
Today, Leah is a successful business owner, wife, and mother of three adult children who has travelled all over the world and used her exposure to enhance her design expertise. She is an active supporter of the Arts, many charitable and community causes including serving on the Board of Directors for the Family Place and The Cancer Support Community organizations. She is also a major supporter of Texas Christian University where her husband serves a professor, member of the board of trustees and committees. Her two eldest sons are alums of the University and her youngest child is a matriculating student of the Class of 2011.
